5. services for statistical, analytical and marketing purposes

We use third-party services for statistical, analytical and marketing purposes. This enables us to provide you with a user-friendly, optimized use of the website. The third-party providers use cookies, pixels, browser fingerprinting or other tracking technologies to control their services. We will inform you below about the external services currently used on our website, as well as about the respective processing in individual cases and about your existing revocation options.

google analytics

Um unsere Website optimal auf Nutzerinteressen abstimmen zu können, nutzen wir „Google Analytics“, einen Webanalysedienst von „Google“ (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland und Google, LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; im Weiteren: „Google” und „Google Analytics 4“). „Google Analytics 4“ verwendet sog.

google ads conversion

We use the “Google Ads” service from “Google” (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland and Google, LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter: “Google” and “Google Ads”) to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites using advertising material (formerly so-called “Google AdWords”). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data from the advertising campaigns. These advertising materials are delivered by “Google” via so-called “ad servers”. For this purpose, we use “ad server” cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring reach, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a “Google” ad, “Google Ads” will store a cookie on your device. Using cookies, “Google” processes the information generated by your device about interactions with our advertising (calling up a specific website or clicking on an advertising medium), the data mentioned in the “Use of our website” section, in particular your IP address, browser information, the previously visited website and the date and time of the server request, for the purpose of analyzing and visualizing the reach measurement of our advertisements. For this purpose, it can also be determined whether different devices belong to you or to your household. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the “Google” server. If you are registered with a “Google” service, “Google” can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with “Google” or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and process your IP address. We only receive statistical evaluations from “Google” to measure the success of our advertising materials. With regard to the storage of and access to information on your device, the legal basis is Section 25 Para. 1 TTDSG; The legal basis for further processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a) of GDPR. “Google” also processes some of the data in the USA. The EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision for data transfer to the USA. In addition, so-called standard contractual clauses have been concluded with Google, LLC in order to oblige Google, LLC to an appropriate level of data protection. A copy of the standard contractual clauses can be obtained at https://cloud.google.com/terms/sccs . The storage period at “Google” is a maximum of 12 months. Further information on data protection and the storage period at “Google” can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy .

google ads remarketing

We use the “Google Ads” tool with the “Dynamic Remarketing” function from “Google” (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland and Google, LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter: “Google” and “Google Ads”). With the “Dynamic Remarketing” function, we can recognize users of our website on other websites within the “Google” advertising network (in “Google” search or on “YouTube”, so-called “Google Ads” or on other websites) and present advertisements tailored to their interests. The advertisements may also relate to products and services that you have already viewed on our website. For this purpose, the interaction of users on our website is analyzed, e.g. which offers the user was interested in, in order to be able to show users targeted advertising on other sites even after they have visited our website. If you visit our website, “Google Ads” will store a cookie on your device. Using cookies, “Google” processes the information generated by your device about your use of our website and interactions with our website, as well as the data specified in the “Use of our website” section, in particular your IP address, browser information, the website previously visited, and the date and time of the server request, for the purpose of displaying personalized advertisements. For this purpose, it can also be determined whether different devices belong to you or your household. If users are registered with a “Google” service, “Google” can assign the visit to the user account and create and evaluate user profiles across applications. The legal basis for storing and accessing information on your device is Section 25 (1) TTDSG; the legal basis for further processing is Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. “Google” also processes some of the data in the USA. There is an adequacy decision by the EU Commission for data transfer to the USA. In addition, so-called standard contractual clauses have been concluded with Google, LLC in order to oblige Google, LLC to an appropriate level of data protection. A copy of the standard contractual clauses can be obtained at https://cloud.google.com/terms/sccs . The storage period at "Google" is a maximum of 12 months. Further information on data protection and the storage period at "Google" can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy .

facebook analytics

We use the “Facebook Analytics” tool from “Facebook” (provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland, and Meta Platforms Inc. 1601 Willow Rd, Menlo Park, California, USA; hereinafter: “Facebook” and “Facebook Analytics”). To use “Facebook Analytics” we use the so-called “Facebook pixel” to analyze the use of our website and internet presence, e.g. in social networks such as “Facebook” and “Instagram”, the interactions made by users on our website and internet presence, and to measure the reach of our advertisements. With the help of the “Facebook pixel” – small graphics that are integrated into our website, are automatically loaded when our website is accessed and enable user behavior to be tracked – your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the “Facebook” server. By integrating the “Facebook pixel”, “Facebook” processes information generated by cookies about the use of our website by your device – e.g. that you have accessed a certain web page – and processes, among other things, the data specified in the “Use of our website” section, in particular your IP address, browser information, the previously visited website, the “Facebook ID” and the date and time of the server request, for the purposes of analyzing our website and internet presence, analyzing user interactions and measuring the reach of our advertisements. For these purposes, it can also be determined whether different devices belong to you or to your household. The information obtained using the “Facebook pixel” is used solely for statistical purposes, is transmitted to us anonymously by “Facebook” as statistics and does not provide any information about the person of the user. If you are registered with a “Facebook” service, “Facebook” can assign the information collected to your account. Even if a user is not registered with “Facebook” or is not logged in, there is a possibility that “Facebook” will find out and process the IP address and other identification features. With regard to the storage of and access to information on your device, the legal basis is Section 25 Paragraph 1 TTDSG; for further processing, the legal basis is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a) of GDPR. “Facebook” also processes some of the data in the USA. There is an adequacy decision by the EU Commission for data transfer to the USA. Standard data protection clauses have also been concluded with Meta Platforms Inc. in order to oblige Meta Platforms Inc. to an appropriate level of data protection. You can request a copy of the standard data protection clauses from Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/341705720996035 . The information in the Facebook cookies is stored for 3 months. Further information on data protection and the storage period at “Facebook” can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation and https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/ .

linkedin ads conversion

We use the “LinkedIn Ads” functions of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View CA 94043; hereinafter: “LinkedIn”) on our website. If you access our website via an ad from LinkedIn, LinkedIn will set a cookie on your device or in your browser to measure the reach of our advertisements, enable the assignment of the success of an advertising medium and continuously improve our advertisements. With the help of cookies, LinkedIn processes the information generated by your device about interactions with our advertising materials (e.g. calling up a specific website or clicking on an advertising medium) as well as some of the data mentioned in the “Use of our website” section, such as your IP address, device and browser information, referrer URL and time stamp for the purpose of analyzing the reach and success of our advertisements, whereby LinkedIn shortens the IP address. By using LinkedIn’s conversion tracking functions, we can in particular determine the extent to which the advertisements we place have influenced relevant actions on our website. For this purpose, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the "LinkedIn" server. If you are logged into a LinkedIn service, LinkedIn can assign the information collected, in particular information about visits to our website, to your user account. The direct identifiers of registered users processed in this context are removed by LinkedIn within seven days; the remaining data is then deleted within 180 days. Even if you do not have a LinkedIn user account or have not logged in, there is a possibility that LinkedIn will find out and process your IP address and other identification features in particular. As part of the evaluation, LinkedIn does not share any personal data with us, but only transmits statistical evaluations to measure the success of our advertising materials. This tells us in the form of statistics to what extent our ads displayed on LinkedIn are successful and have led to relevant actions on our website. We also receive statistical analyses of which groups of people (e.g. with a certain job title, company, industry) have carried out actions. This allows us to specify our target groups and improve the orientation of our advertising material. The legal basis for storing and accessing information on your device is Section 25 Paragraph 1 TTDSG; the legal basis for further processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a) of GDPR. LinkedIn also processes the data in the USA. The EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision for data transfer to the USA. We have also concluded so-called standard contractual clauses with LinkedIn to oblige LinkedIn to maintain an appropriate level of data protection. We will be happy to provide you with a copy upon request. You can find more information on data protection and the storage period at LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy .

linkedin ads retargeting

In addition, our website uses the “LinkedIn Ads” analysis and retargeting functions of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View CA 94043; hereinafter: “LinkedIn”). “LinkedIn” processes information generated in particular with the help of cookies, tracking pixels and fingerprinting methods about the use of our website by your device in order to record certain user behavior on our website. Information stored on users’ devices is also processed, in particular IP addresses, browser information, login data, information about the operating system used and other data mentioned in the “Use of our website” section. This enables us to target users of our website and users of “LinkedIn” who belong to a comparable target group with interest-based advertisements (“LinkedIn ads”) when they visit the social network “LinkedIn”. Using the tracking technologies used by LinkedIn, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the servers of “LinkedIn”. If you are registered with a “LinkedIn” service, “LinkedIn” can assign the information collected to your user account. Even if you do not have a user account with “LinkedIn” or have not logged in, there is a possibility that “LinkedIn” will find out and process your IP address and other identification features in particular. We do not personally identify the respective users. We have the option of retargeting for up to 180 days after your visit to our website. The legal basis for storing and accessing information on your device is Section 25 Para. 1 TTDSG; the legal basis for further processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 Letter a) of GDPR. “LinkedIn” also processes the data in the USA. There is an adequacy decision by the EU Commission for data transfer to the USA. We have also concluded so-called standard contractual clauses with "LinkedIn" in order to oblige "LinkedIn" to an appropriate level of data protection. We will be happy to provide you with a copy upon request. Further information on data protection and the storage period at "LinkedIn" can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

When you contact our company, e.g. by telephone, email, WhatsApp or via the contact form on the website, the personal data you provide will be processed by us in order to answer your query. We coordinate customer inquiries and optimize processes for targeted and prompt responses (e.g. by automatically sending emails) as part of our customer service management. In order to process inquiries via the contact form, it is essential that you provide a name, a valid email address, telephone number, subject, status and message. When the message is sent to us, your IP address and the date and time of registration will also be processed. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR or Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b) GDPR if the contact is aimed at concluding a contract or is related to it. If the request is aimed at concluding a contract or is related to an order that has been placed, the provision of your data is necessary and obligatory. If the data is not provided, it is not possible to conclude or carry out a contract and process the request. The other data processed during the sending process of the contact form serve to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

2-2.publishing your product reviews

If you have submitted a review of our company or the products you have purchased on a product review platform with which we cooperate, based on the conditions applicable there, this review may be published on our website under the name or pseudonym you provided.

We do not check the content of the review before publication. We reserve the right to remove entries at any time if they are found to be illegal.

To ensure that only genuine reviews are published, we process the contact details you provide when making a purchase in our online shop in connection with the submission of your review. We would also like to be able to contact you if your review on the website is found to be unlawful and to be able to defend ourselves against complaints or claims that may be made to us as a result of your review.

We will process your contact details in this regard as long as your review remains on the website or as long as we are dealing with the review in the context of a legal dispute.

If the review is deleted, we will process your contact details and other voluntary information until the expiry of the statutory limitation periods for the aforementioned prevention and defense reasons, but will restrict the processing of this data after six months.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the publication of reviews as advertising measures, as well as the verification of experience reports and in legal defense.

We process your personal data in the form of the review until your review is deleted.

4-1.identity and credit check

Depending on the payment method selected, an identity or credit check is carried out. The credit check uses mathematical and statistical methods to calculate a rating with regard to the probability of a payment default (so-called calculation of a "scoring" value). The payment service provider bases its decision on the provision of the respective payment methods on the calculated "scoring" value. The calculation of a "scoring" value is carried out according to recognized scientific methods.

The identity and credit check is carried out by the payment service provider we use. You can find further information in the “Payment service provider” section.

The legal basis for the credit check is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests lie in the prevention of fraud and the avoidance of default risks (e.g. if we make advance payments for the payment method you have chosen) as well as in the avoidance of misuse of data. It can also be checked whether the data you have provided is correct and whether the order really came from you.
